FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 

Where do I start?
  • Decide on your number of guests and date of your event. 
  • Come prepared with times, layout, and equipment requests that you may need.
  • If you need help with any further details, contact our Director of Event Services.
How soon should I schedule my room?
  • As soon as you are sure of the date, you can place the room on "Tentative Hold" for up to 45 days.
  • If another client requests the same room and day, you have a 48 hour period to place a deposit on the room, securing your date.
Is catering or an alcohol service offered for events?
  • ​Both of these services are offered and can be requested for your event!
  • Additional information and pricing can be provided by our Director of Event Services.
Are the rooms at the Civic Center internet accessible?
  • Yes!  The Veterans Memorial Civic & Convention Center offers free wireless internet.
 
Can I decorate prior to my event's scheduled time?
  • As long as the building is open during regular business hours and the room is not being used for another event, of course!
  • This is not, however, a guaranteed service. Be sure to consult with our Director of Event Services for further information.
